Silviano Matamoros, MD, is the medical director of the Center for Eye Care & Surgery.  He has been practicing Ophthalmology in St. Lucie County since 1990. Dr. Matamoros completed his residency training in Ophthalmology at McGill University in Montreal.

Dr. Matamoros is board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and is a member of the American Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, the Treasure Coast Ophthalmological Society and the McGill Ophthalmology Alumni Association.

Dr. Matamoros is certified on both the Summit and VISX excimer lasers and is qualified to perform a number of laser vision correction procedures, including ASA, LASIK, PRK and CK.

As a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the International Society of Refractive Surgery, Dr Matamoros is dedicated to providing his patients with the highest quality ophthalmic care.
